Jason Alward
Hailing from Eastern Canada, Jason brings 25 years of visual communication experience to the table. With his early career spent in large corporate agencies working with such clients as Pepsi, Blackberry and Samsung, he soon realized a need for more substantially fulfilling projects. In 2016, he found this rewarding work in his role as art director for one of the largest public service unions in Ontario, providing communications for its 140,000 members.
In 2016, with this grassroots interest, he launched Verge, an agency with the goal of delivering high quality visual communications to individuals and organizations aligned with those same grassroot ideals.
Rosalind Gunn
Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Roz developed a ravenous interest in reading and writing, taking early inspiration from the works of L.M. Montgomery. This interest followed her into her English Literature/Rhetoric & Political Science honours degree from the University of Waterloo, and then to her Masters of Arts at Ryerson University. Using these skills, she taught writing and communications at George Brown College, with topics ranging from persuasion, to research, to understanding the importance of audience and tone. Following her time at George Brown, she crafted communications for one of Ontario’s largest public service unions, helping to further the rights of workers, while also honing her skills in strategic communications.
